Jerimiah Marques Saturday 15th May

Jerimiah Marques and the Blue Aces played Blues at the Fort in 2008 and immediately entered the Blues at the Fort Favourites category.  The emphasis is on deep Chicago Blues, which transports the listener to the blues heyday of the 1950,s and the magic sounds of Howling Wolf and Muddy Waters.

The band will then switch to another different groove, that of Roots Reggae, as exemplified by Toots and the Maytals. The key to this great combination is the charismatic Jerimiah Marques, a vocal master of both musical styles and a performer who has to be seen live in order to appreciate his electrifying talent.

Jerimiah Marques & The Blue Aces are truly unique, insofar as they present stunningly authentic performances of two of the world's most exciting musical genres.
