Is there reasonably priced accommodation close to the event?
Due to the proximity of many tourist attractions there are many B & B's and hotels within reasonable travel distance of Fort Purbrook. Blues at the Fort are unable to recommend accommodation but you may wish to try Booking.com to find what you require. If you are looking late, here is a link to Late Rooms that might be of use.
Who do bands contact to play at Blues at the Fort?
We are fully booked for bands for the coming event, but if you would like to get involved in future events, please Contact Us.
Can I pitch a tent on the site overnight?
Overnight camping is not allowed on the site during the Blues at the Fort weekend.. Due to the proximity of many tourist attractions there are several camp sites within reasonable travel distance of Fort Purbrook. Blues at the Fort are unable to recommend any particular site, however nearby Fort Widley may be of interest.
Can I leave my car at the fort overnight?
Yes, provided it is picked up no later than mid day the following day, and leave a contact number with the organisers on the night.
Are children allowed in to Blues at the Fort?
Due to the nature of the venue and timing of the Friday and Saturday event Blues at the Fort is not suitable for children.

Can we bring our own food and drink into the event?
No. Food and drink are available at the events
I am in a wheelchair, is there easy access to the fort?
There is no problem with wheelchair access. Cars may be driven directly up to the marquee where there is adequate car parking and assistance if required.
Ticket terms and conditions
1. Refund Policy
Festival Organisers will not refund, provide an exchange or replace any tickets where:
- the ticket holder is unable or chooses not to attend the event;
- the ticket is stolen or lost;
- the ticket has been duplicated;
- the ticket holder has been refused entry or evicted from the premises in any of the circumstances outlined in the conditions below; and
- the event does not meet his or her expectations.
If however, your ticket is lost or stolen PRIOR TO THE FESTIVAL, contact the organisers. We may be able to issue a new ticket and cancel the original tickets.
2. You are responsible for your Ticket.
If you arrive without your pre-issued Ticket, you will be refused entry.
3. Offensive Behaviour
The Festival has the right to refuse entry or evict patrons who behave in a manner that is inappropriate, offensive to others, or illegal.
4. Alcohol
The Festival is a licensed event. BYO alcohol will not be permitted within the festival site.
Any person found involved in underage drinking will be escorted from the festival site.
5. Minors (Under 18 Years of age)
A responsible adult must accompany all minors attending the Festival.
6. No Animals
No animals, pets, or companion animals are allowed on the Festival site except for:
- guide dogs
- hearing dogs
- assistance animals: that is, an animal that has been trained to assist a person to alleviate the effect of their disability
All guide dogs, hearing dogs and assistance animals must be on a lead at all times while on the Festival site.
Note that persons with guide dogs, hearing dogs and assistance animals may be liable for any injury, loss, or damage caused by their assistance animal while it is on the Festival site.
7. Footwear
Footwear must be worn while moving about the Festival Site.
8. Sound and Video Recording
Sound and Video recording are not permitted without prior written consent of the Festival Managing Director.
9. Entry to the Festival is at your own risk.
10. The Program
The Festival reserves the right to vary the advertised artists and/or program.
The Festival will take place regardless of the weather. In the case of rain ample covered venues are available, but it is advisable to bring appropriate clothing.
